Typical House Shot aka THS
Typical House Shot or THS
These patterns are designed to steer the ball toward the
pocket. This is accomplished by applying a high concentration of oil in the
middle part of the lane and leaving the outside boards extremely dry,
creating very little, if any, “out of bounds.” The oil ratio on recreational
patterns is in excess of 10 to 1. These patterns are also known as “typical
house patterns.”
