Full Span: Distance from edge of thumb hole nearest to the center, to the edge of finger

          holes nearest to the center including all inserts and / or grips.
          (also referred to as True span or actual span).

Cut Span: Distance from edge of thumb hole nearest to the center, to the edge of finger holes

         nearest to the center excluding all inserts and / or grips.
         also referred to as Edge to edge span.
