Reverse block: A lane condition in which the inside portion of the lane is covered with less conditioner than the outside. Reverse Block - A lane condition pattern with more oil on the outside boards then on the middle boards. This makes for a low scoring condition. The ball will not hook on the outside boards because of the heavy oil, and it will hook too much on the middle boards because of the reduced amount of oil.
